Universities don't just want smart students.

Universities don't just want smart students.

They want to stamp their name on the next world-changing leader. They want to say "Mark Zuckerberg, Harvard dropout" or "Michelle Obama, Princeton alumna" because these success stories become part of their legacy. We know this, because just in the last year, our students have:

Earned life-changing financial aid packages from top-tier universities

Gained admission to nearly every Ivy League and elite school on the map

Consistently secured spots at Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, and dozens more

All with GPAs ranging from 3.0 to 4.0 - proof that perfection isn’t required

From Start To Results Day

From Start To Results Day

We get in the trenches with you - giving you direct, weekly feedback and guidance on every piece of your application. Line by line. Word by word.

Phase 1: Discovery

The biggest mistake most students make is they waste precious time on activities that universities see right through. While others scatter their efforts across generic activities... Whilst other students build another meaningless profile that blends in with thousands of others, we help our students:

Identify your unique strength that elite universities desperately want

Zero in on your specific leadership potential

The New Way To Ivy League Acceptance

What Our Students Say

What Our Students Say

What it's like to work with us, from the people who actually did.

Kohen

On Guam, we call the rest of America "The States" — which says a lot about the inferiority complex we grow up with. Going into the program, I was terrified. I assumed I had to be perfect, that these mentors only worked with kids who'd started businesses or were internationally recognized, and that if I didn't measure up, they wouldn't believe in me. UILG subverted all of that. Our calls didn't start with a strict recap of my progress — they started with "Hey, Kohen! How have you been?" Senior year hit my mental health hard, and I was the most burnt out I'd ever been. What I loved most is that my advisors had been in my shoes. They kept me on track without letting me overwhelm myself, even sending reminders every day during my busiest months.
I was absolutely not the best student — my assignments were late, sometimes incomplete — but they still tried their best to help me. And it worked: I got into NYU, UCLA, and UC San Diego, something that felt impossible for someone like me. The experience sparked my own goal of starting a college-assistance program for public school students on Guam. Our island might be small, but that doesn't mean our dreams have to be.
Accepted to:
NYU, UCLA, UC San Diego

Khanh

As an international student applying to over 40 schools, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of essays. UILG was invaluable. Their school-specific videos broke down what each college actually values, so I could tailor every supplemental instead of writing generic responses. The essay coaches reviewed multiple drafts with detailed, actionable comments. The feedback I kept hearing was "be specific" — my coach pushed me to tie every essay back to specific programs, professors, and opportunities instead of vague statements that could apply anywhere. That one habit transformed my essays, and with that many applications, having someone guide me efficiently made all the difference. In the end I was admitted to 13 universities. If you're on the fence, just join.
Accepted to:
Boston University, Northeastern, Georgetown, Case Western Reserve, University of Rochester, UC Davis (13 admits total)

The UILG program gave me so many resources and chances to get great feedback on my essays. As the oldest sibling with no parents who went to college in the U.S., I felt pretty overwhelmed by all the supplemental essays.
But the coaches were there to support me like older siblings, always quick to give advice and help when I needed it. Their feedback really made a difference.

Elizabeth C.

When I started my college application process, I was overwhelmed and lost because my deadline was approaching very soon and I didn't have anyone to check over my application and essays. But when I came across UILG, I voiced my concerns to Elise about meeting the deadline and wanting to make my application the strongest it could be.
And with that, she provided me with amazing edits and revisions within just a couple of hours after my submission. If I'm being honest, you can't find these fast and reliable services anywhere else, so I strongly recommend using UILG.

Aditi M.

I felt lost within the college admissions process, without much idea of how to do things (especially since I’m an only child). After joining UILG and being given a guiding gameplan on how can tackle the college admissions process, I felt on track for success and even a sense of ease! UILG has continuied to help me grow by giving my continuous feedback on my essays and writing style to ensure I can effectively voice my personality through my essays.
To anyone that is looking to work with UILG, I highly recommend it! It’s provided me a sense of direction when it came to the college admissions process, and I felt like I was in good hands when it came to my essays.

Alex G.

hi again! I just wanted to say thank you for starting this.

Applying to college was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. Before joining UILG, I felt scattered, ill-advised, like I was throwing darts blindly. When I signed up, I got ideas, clarity, and direction — plus advisors and mentors who actually cared, people I could text and honestly vent to. They turned my existing activities into a cohesive, strategic application, and made the whole experience pain-free. I'm proud to say I was admitted to Harvard, Yale, and Columbia — my top three choices. I don't think there's anyone UILG can't help.
Accepted to:
Harvard, Yale, Columbia, USC, UCLA

UILG has been a guiding light through one of the most stressful stretches of high school. When I enrolled, I got direct mentors who I could reach with any question, big or small. My head coach met with me regularly on passion projects and extracurriculars that would strengthen my application, and connected me with resources to show initiative. My writing coach helped me dig into my past to bring my whole story together — turning snippets of my life into a vivid personal statement and finding meaningful angles for each supplemental. The Skool lessons and community were the cherry on top: I could network with other students and pull from video resources on everything from SAT prep to supplements to internships, and office hours let me get feedback from several coaches. UILG covers your college journey from every angle. Thank you for everything.

Before attending the program, I was a little lost on how the college application worked and what I needed to do to secure my spot at a top school.
Throughout the program, my mentors worked with me to not only establish a strong foundation, but to also guide me through the specifics behind the college application process.

Athul A.

I was able to secure NASA SEES internship, plus a quino internship, plus research with a professor through cold email.

Joanne P.

I was incredibly lost and overwhelmed about the college application process, especially as the deadline was approaching in 4 days, and I didn't have anyone who could check over my application in a way to ensure it was on par.
Thus, it felt like a miracle when, after voicing these concerns to Elise, she provided incredible edits/revisions only a couple of hours after my submission. Elise was extremely helpful to me in our last tutoring session. I had booked calls at the top 5 ivy league counseling services (prepory, the ivy institute, etc) and I liked her the best. We were ready to put a lot of money down for these people but then I found Elise. I liked Elise the best because she actually seemed real and wasn't like a 40 year old man that I felt was not with the times.
Elise didn't seem money oriented and greedy like other people I had met and she had a large plethora of knowledge so relate to me on an individual level.I am recommending her to everyone that I know that could use her services.

Jyot S.

I contacted UILG through Instagram and I was looking for some sort of guidance to the college process.
I don't really see any flaw in the program. I think that if you're willing to put in the work, there's no reason not to join.If this sounds like you, I think you should really consider this as an option for college prep as soon as the ninth grade.

When I started my college applications as an international student, I honestly felt lost. I had a strong GPA, plenty of extracurriculars, even international competitions — but no idea how to turn all of that into a clear application. UILG helped me organize everything, from choosing universities to approaching my essays. The feedback was the most valuable part: I could see exactly how my essays improved from first draft to final. The coaches genuinely care — they helped me develop my ideas and express them better, not just fix drafts. The community is welcoming too, which matters a lot during such a stressful process. In the end, I was accepted to Columbia, Rice, Northwestern, UC San Diego, and Penn State. I'd recommend UILG to anyone unsure where to start.

UILG gives you mentors and essay coaches who actually guide you — through passion projects, essay drafts, and more. The essay coach calls are great; you can ask for help on anything personally. And they're brutally honest, which kept me on the right path while building my passion project and writing my essays. A great experience — I'd recommend them to anyone looking for college counseling.

I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of UILG. I’ve gained skills that will later come in handy during college...
If you’re a struggling student like I used to be, this program will be the ideal move to really elevate your applications through your personality.

I was able to break down the overwhelming admissions process into manageable steps, allowing me to focus on every aspect of my application with clarity.
The coaches were extremely supportive and dedicated their time to review my essays, ensuring that each one reflected my values and curiosity.

Halina N.

With the help of this program, I was able to write beautifully crafted essays that reflect my journey towards the person I have become, something grades could never do.
I would like to highlight specifically the coaching staff that this program has. I strongly believe what makes this program stand out compared to others are the work ethics of the coaches. They were truly remarkable and had so much knowledge about the admission process and what admission officers look for in an applicant.

Himani M.

The UILG program has contributed to my recent achievement of working on earning the U.S. Congressional Award because the mentors helped me find this award to work towards and also guided me when I had questions.
I would most like to highlight my growth in my college essay knowledge due to the program because I learned how the different common app and uc applications differ and also how to approach different prompts for different colleges.

Elise is the real deal. She's super approachable. She's super friendly.I was really impressed with Elise's dedication.
I don't know if that girl ever sleeps. The information she shares, her generosity is genuine. And, you know, take a chance. I don't think you'll regret it.

UILG gave me confidence in my writing and in my potential as a student. After working through my essays and getting advice on how to navigate a daunting process, I felt far more secure than I would have without the essay coaches' support. I'd recommend them.

All of the revisions are well thought out, and I can DEF tell the hype around Ultimate Mentor!! I STRONGLY recommend this service, especially for those who never had a college consultant or is just overwhelmed by it all. Thank you, Elise!
